What we do

The Transitions Challenge

We are exploring and improving work transitions through this period of fast-paced change. We are empowering good work transitions for all.

People are not supported in transitioning to the new kinds of good work that workplace technologies can create.

To address this, we are catalysing the creation of sustainable good jobs and supported transitions for as many people as possible.

Case Studies

Channelling Motivations

In partnership with the EY Foundation, we developed a Future Work Lab and a pilot intervention to explore how a focus on intrinsic and internal motivation can help young people from low-income backgrounds access better jobs.

Flourish

With funding from UFI VocTech Trust, we are developing the Flourish platform to help people from Cornwall and Lincolnshire access training and work opportunities in the green sector.

Skills and Capabilities in the UK workforce

As part of our Pissarides Review, we surveyed 5000 UK employees to better understand the distribution of skills and capabilities in the workforce, and the impacts of workplace technologies on job quality. We also developed the first Disruption Index, mapping technological transformation and regional innovation readiness across the country.
