New technology changes the skills demanded from workers and the skills required in the economy. To plan for future skills, we must be able to predict which jobs might be replaced by technology. As outlined by resources on this shelf, there are different theories of how this works. This shelf has been curated by Lord Jim Knight and Professor Sir Chris Pissarides. We are keen to critically engage with a wide range of perspectives on the future of work. These resources do not necessarily reflect the views of IFOW.
