There is increasing interest in employee engagement as a means of gaining insight into the impacts of technology at work. While participatory design is more recognised in the citizen realm, greater consideration could be given to understanding how workplace consultation and participatory design might work. Dialogue can be particularly important when thinking about the fairness and equality implications of automated and semi-automated decision making technologies. This shelf has been curated by IFOW.
