Policy Implications breakfast - Adoption of AI in UK Firms

In preparation for the launch of our major study of AI adoption in UK firms, IFOW gathered key policy stakeholders to discuss policy implications.

On 13th September, in the lead up to the launch of a major working paper as part of the Pissarides Review, funded by the Nuffield Foundation, IFOW hosted a breakfast at WBS's venue in The Shard for key policy stakeholders.

Professor James Hayton presented the key findings, and IFOW Directors Anna Thomas and Dr Abigail Gilbert steered a discussion, with contributions from representatives of the Cabinet Office, DSIT, the Department for Education, Digit Research, the Nuffield Foundation, techUK, Manchester Alliance Business School and other academics, civil servants and regional economists.
